Nakiska is a ski resort located in Kananaskis Country in Alberta, Canada. It has 64 trails with four chairlifts and 1 magic carpet, and was the host for ten alpine events at the 1988 Winter Olympics. The name “Nakiska” comes from the Cree word meaning “meeting place” or “to meet”. Rocky Mountain Lift Services & Supplies Inc. and Rigging Specialties have worked with Nakiska Ski Area since 2012, providing services such as: splice repair, welding repairs, rope repairs,  Sheave Assembly Modifications, rope shortening, NDT, Tower Assembly Rebuild Service Work, and rigging equipment and supplies, such as: Hitrac rental, clamp rental, Elaskon spray oil, wire slings, winch cat cables, PUR cable.
