Named after John Norquay in 1904, Mt. Norquay Ski Resort has been used for skiing since 1926. Rope tows were installed in 1942 and the first chairlift was installed in 1948. Since then, Mt. Norquay has grown to have a total of 60 runs which are accessible by 3 quad chairs, 1 double chair and a magic carpet. Rocky Mountain Lift Services & Supplies Inc. and Rigging Specialties have worked with Panorama Mountain Resort since 2013, providing services such as: rope change, de-tension in preparation for rope shortening, bearing change, roller repair, comm line installation, NDT, splice work, and rigging equipment and supplies, such as: haul rope, break forks and holders, lift hook, PUR cables.
