PANORAMA MOUNTAIN RESORT, BRITISH COLUMBIA

Panorama Mountain Resort is located in southeastern British Columbia in the Purcell Mountains. It was founded in 1962 and at the time consisted of a single rope tow which was used to transport users up a run which is known as “Old Timer”. It has since grown to have a total of 10 lift systems which consist of 1 gondola, 6 chairlifts, 1 platter lift, and 2 magic carpets, which provide access to 2,975 acres of skiable terrain. Rocky Mountain Lift Services & Supplies Inc. and Rigging Specialties have worked with Panorama Mountain Resort since 2013, providing services such as: rope change, rope splicing, rope exchange, bullwheel bearing change, rope shortening, gearbox servicing, NDT,  and rigging equipment and supplies, such as: Skilift cable, winch cat cable, splice tape, PUR cable, speed wheel, splice kit, Fatzer haul rope, pulley blocks, Hit16, slings, lever hoists, gearbox kits, Kohma Digital Wide Mouth Calipers, Magna chain hoist.
