Cyborg Cyber Spin is America’s first 3D Tourbillon spinning ride located in the 6 Flags Adventure Park, New Jersey. It is a triple box design that allows the gondola to spin around three separate axes as high as 22 meters (70 feet) off the ground. This design was inspired by the French scientist Leon Foucault who invented the gyroscope. ABC Rides spent 3 years of planning and designing to recreate a world-revolutionizing ride using similar concepts. The Tourbillon, French for “whirlwind”, is the pinnacle of “flat rides”. It twists and turns in every possible direction. Rocky Mountain Lift Services & Supplies Inc. was contracted out by ABC Engineering AG of Switzerland to provide supervisory services for the installation of the Cyborg Cyber Spin 3D Tourbillon at 6 Flags, New Jersey.
