STABILO Fatzer wire ropes feature a full plastic core from polyethylene rod. The finished process offers marginal elongation making re-splicing work unnecessary before the most favorable point of time as well the life of the rope is extended due to minimal wire breakage triggored by inter-strand contact. The STABILO Fatzer wire ropes have proven themselves worldwide - particularily on revolving ropeways and high performance installations with high transportation capacity. STABILO wire ropes feature a full plastic core from polyethylene rod which is heated up during the closing stage and pressed between the strands. As the interior, which is surrounded by the strands, is completely filled by the fullplast core, a supporting member is created that stabilizes and cushions the strands and also maintains the spacing of the strands. The strands have already settled and worked into the core during the manufacturing process - with the advantage of marginal elongation and high consistency of the rope diameter afterwards. The rope remains stable in operation, so that no significant permanent elongation develops, making re-splicing work unnecessary before the most favorable point of time. Furthermore, the lifetime of the rope is extended, due no wire breakage triggered by inter-strand contact. For more information on STABILO wire ropes please download the files below.
